This town has no shortage of good Happy Hour specials offered all week long. I even built a spreadsheet of the top places I have been to so far and fully endorse them as legit places to go check out. See that document by clicking here. So when I heard that Peasant Village Restaurant was doing a limited Happy Hour 3 days a week for 1.5 hours each day, I had to go see what the deal was. More so because the first visit I had here with my girlfriend for dinner was amazing! It was last Tuesday evening at 530pm, that Stacy and I teamed up to take on the new Happy Hour now offered at PVR. On T, W, Th from 5-630pm they have $1 off canned beer and wine by the glass and $2 off their awesome cocktail menu. They also offer two featured apps at discounted prices.

The panko-crusted calamari is unlike any we have ever seen or tried. Giant meaty sticks of calamari versus the standard curly rings. More calamari, less breading. Please just do yourself a favor and get these! Duck and brie egg rolls with jalapeƱo cranberry sauce are another big spin on a classic that’s different in an oh-so-good way.

Smoked or sour whiskey old-fashioned cocktails are the only cocktails I truly like at all. They got a smoked version that’s a true campfire in a glass on every sip! The NY Sour, Bees Knees, and Margarita are gonna be hot summer day favorites really quick just watch and see!

Never pass on the chance to get dinner here either folks! We have now had the lamb chops, ribeye, sirloin, and peasant chicken entrees, not one has disappointed us in any way. Chef Jason Helfer, bartender Courtney, and server Rissa are wicked awesome at their jobs and they await the chance to serve you for happy hour and/or dinner. So what are ya waiting for? Go, drink, eat, enjoy!

Be sure to check out my prior review of PV Deli as well! Chef Jason’s other food establishment in town with outstanding sandwiches, salads and wraps not to be missed.
